Hi everyone..
From today i am serious about the development of my OS..
I will post every new information that i will learn regarding the OS gradually as i learn.
Today i learnt that every sector is divided into 512 bytes.
The bootloader in the part of the OS which loads the kernel in to the RAM of the computer.
When the computer boots up, it first checks the bootsector, the first sector of the drive, for the bootloader.
The size of the bootloader is 512 bytes, and it is stored in the bootsector of the drive.
The bootloader is just a raw binary program. It loads the kernel into the RAM, which finally loads the OS.
I guess i will first start with the development of the bootloader, which will load me to the boot screen to an infinite loop.
Next i will try printing a character, and then the famous HELLO WORLD..!

Hii..!!

Ab here after about an year or so...lolz..

Microsoft kinda removed all the ways which i knew to make XP Genuine..

So i had to do a great deal of search to get a solution to the problem...

I could not buy Windows XP cause of some economical problem..else i always support for Genuine Softwares and a big NO to piracy....

Well, here is the way to make XP Genuine...

Just download the exe below from rapidshare..and execute it...Thats it...done...

A small guide to using torrents...

Torrent files are the type of files that reqiure specific programs such as utorrent(best) , Azureus , Bittorrent , etc to be opened...And these programs are called Torrent Clients..

These softwares acquire the necessary information out of that torrent file and use it for the file transfer..

The file transfer is done via other computers who too have downloaded these files, and are known as seeders..
The people who download the files are known as peers...
There are few people who simply leave the group after completing their download without seeding at all....And these people are call Leechers, And i request you all to be not one of them

A torrent is generally tracked my various trackers websites such as demonoid.com. These trackers see as to how the files are being download..If they notice any malicious activity from any IP they ban it and further download is not allowed..

A Upload value to Download value ratio is maintained for each torrent, and if it is regularly found that your ratio is very very low then you have chances to get banned by trackers..

It is Illegal to download paid software free out of internet..so be careful...And why not buy them if you like it??

This is just a small introduction to Torrents...I will post more on this about how to use torrent files and Torrent Clients..

As a 2nd post, and the 1st computer related post its a very simple thing and most of us know it!!

Ok, so just open the task manager using Ctrl+Alt+Delete
Go to Processes Tab and view all the things running!

Many processes avoid the listing of their process in it so you can use a software named as HijackThis...
